About Us
Whenever we buy something new the natural world suffers a little damage. There's a carbon impact for every purchase we make and though we don't like to admit it, this is mainly how we're messing up the place. The awkward truth is that together we're all shopping this planet to destruction.
So, if you're still reading, Climate Shop is trying to show another way. We're the first shops in the world where everything you buy draws down carbon instead of releasing it.
Find out all about the Climate Shop project, what happens to your donations and how we draw down carbon by finding a new home for your pre-loved items.
Latest News
At the climate shop we host different events and activities. From a board games night at our Aberystwyth store to out free child book exchange program and word book day activities, you are sure to find something for you! check it out here.

Why Choose Us
With so many charities and non-profits out there it can be difficult to decide who to donate to.
Read on to discover what makes us different and all the great reasons why we think you should choose us.
Prevent Landfill.
We don't throw anything away unless absolutely necessary. Eveything from the biggest washing machine to the smallest bead is reused, repurposed or repaired.
We draw down carbon. Every £1 we generate will plant 5 trees, thus absorbing CO2 from our atmosphere and lowering the global carbon footprint.
We provide jobs & security to our partners in Kenya, planting trees that provide food and wages to those working on the project.
